SACKVILLE STORM U12 - HALFYARD had an extra special guest join in and lead their practice last night! The team got to meet and be coached by Daneesha Provo, who represented Canada twice at the U19 World Championships and again at the Commonwealth Games. Daneesha also played for the University of Utah, professionally in Germany's Premier Women's League where she was the league's leading scorer. She was also among the top 20 named to the 2020 Canadian Olympic Team training camp roster!
A huge thank you to Daneesha for making the time to provide coaching and words of inspiration to our youth team. They will be motivated by this experience for a long time to come. Another big thanks to Lower Sackville-native Steve Baur, Canada's Senior Women's National Team Assistant Coach for making this happen for us!
